Taxi Booking Application (demo)

This application has been used in the first demonstrator of the 4CaaSt Platform. The complete demonstrator shows how applications are described using the Application Blueprint and exposed in the 4CaaSt Marketplace.

Once it is contracted by a Marketplace Customer, the final deployment is designed by the platform and the different components: application components and platform technologies (combining different products and services) are dynamically deployed on the Flexiscale IaaS.

Advanced Monitoring (demo)

One of the targets of the 4CaaSt monitoring platform is providing an advanced analytics service that uses gathered metrics to gain insight into the PaaS. Of the multiple possibilities that this offers, time series prediction was selected as one of the most useful when it comes to proactively delivering an adequate service.

An initial analysis prototype was developed using Matlab, in order to test several algorithms and their suitability when using monitored data from a production private cloud. This video shows the results, as well as some initial hints on the opportunity of offering forecasting as a service as part of the MaaS solution.
